From concept to broadcast ready in 2 days.
I was the editor and graphic artist on this 19 second promo that airs on the show I work on.
So, in this video. I did the following:
- Cut a 45 second script into 19 seconds.
- Sourced b-roll
- Created the ticket myself in Photoshop (credit to our art director Tavis for the logo at top of ticket)

- All graphic animations and effects done in After Effects
- Fine cut and audio mix done in Final Cut Pro
The round trip from starting idea of a promo, to something you’ll see on TV/web… 2 days of production (16 hours).
So, with all that in mind, any comments?
Thanks in advance for your comments, feel free to leave them here and help recaptcha.
By the way, below is an update on the tickets I made. I put textures on them to make them seem less “fake”. Don’t forget to set to 720p and full screen to see the detail.
BTW, for anyone reading this now, congrats, you get a treat… Watch the full commercial, produced from about 10 more hours with . <THIS_VIDEO link under construction/ >
